Question: What are some reasons for an out of focus shot when used auto-focus??

My shots have started to come out ‘out of focus’, which is strange because I am using auto-focus. What could be some of the reasons for this?
I am using a Samsung s85 camera, 8mp size, no flash, auto iso, custom white balance & I then lighten the shot when editing. The result is great lighting but an out of focus shot, lacks contrast.
Any suggestions about what I could do to fix this??

Answer: 1) As mentioned, not enough light when taking a photo. This forces the camera to select a slow shutter speed, allowing time for the camera to move in your hands whilst taking the shot.

2) Taking a photo too close to the subject. Most camera have a minimum focus distance. If trying to focus closer, you must use macro mode usually indicated by a flower symbol.

3) Focus error. Some shots do not lend them selves to good auto focus. This may be because some small part of the scene is closer to the camera than the part you want to focus on. Some cameras select the object closest to them, even if it is not a significant part of the shot.

4) Light levels, some cameras fail to focus when it is too dark or too bright

5) lack of contrast. If you try to photograph a blank white wall the camera will be unable to focus because there are no edges or areas of colour for the camera to focus on.

6) Wrong focus mode. Some cameras allow you to turn auto focus off via a switch, leaving a camera on manual focus and forgetting about it leads to blurry shots.

7) Faulty camera, the camera may simply be faulty and unable to focus

Question: I have a Nikon D60 focus problems?

when I take photos at night I try to make the autofocus with the flash. thus I hear a click as if the flash is not until then that it takes the picture as if it had flash. Ive tried a restore, but that doesn't work. I also see a sign question in the viewer.

Answer: Something you have to understand the mechanisms of auto focus work on the basis of measurement contrast. What this means in English is that there must be clearly identifiable lines or surfaces that can be distinguished by the camera. If that is not available the camera can not focus and at night can expect that it will not be able to concentrate for that reason. It is not a Nikon problem, which is a problem with all the mechanisms autofocus of any brand. What I suggest you consider is focus manually. That immediately solves your problem. Alternatively, try auto focus on a another object on the same distance, then hold the shutter button halfway down, compose your shot and finally take the picture. I hope this helps a little. Question: What do pregnancy cramps feel like to you?

So according to the ovulation calculator i was due to start ovulation sept 23. i had sex the 22nd and a few days after theovulation start date. A week after (oct 2) i started getting crampy type pains. Noticed orangish/brownish spotting on my panties. Literally spots. and when i wiped it was a light pink discharge. The cramps continued but they are not severe. more mild. In the last week i have been having like cramps but they are like stretchy type cramps. they feel like something is stretching.its weird. DOES ANYBODY know what im talking about? And why would the color of the implantation bleeding appear to have a orangish color to it? I was due for my period Oct 10th so im 3 days late and test this morning and its neg. HELP PLEASE!!!

Answer: I got spotting around 9-10 DPO…it was just a little bit and rust colored..started pinkish but had a darker color stain in my underwear.

I think mine are more like twinges sometimes–like a cramp is about to start but I dont get the full cramp…just like the begining of a cramp that keeps going.

Question: neg blood test – was the beginning?

? Implantation bleeding brown 11/15 and 11/16 is never very light pink – had wear a pad for protection. I read that the bleeding implanation is when the egg begins to connect the uterus and that you should wait 4 days after the last day of your telescope to take a HPT – it was neg this morning. Since I have not had a period from 10/16 my OB suggested a blood test today to see if I was pregnant. E 'was also negative. I have left of being pregnant and have tried since February Does anyone know if I tested early as this was only 5 days after the sightings stopped? Someone did a neg blood test and then discovered that they were pregnant at a later date?

Answer: Blood tests are rather accurate. are able to detect the pregnancy only after about 5 days.
