Question: How can you have a rotating MC to another MC using Flash with AS2?How can you be a MovieClip turn to another clip film using Flash with Actionscript 2? If you are going to give a link, make sure it is relevant. I mean, I want an MC who is a ememy in my game to "look" the hero to turn to the hero.
Answer: This is the code I used for one of my games. I do not understand mathematics, but it works. Adjside = Mc1_mc._x-mc2_mc._x; oppside = -1 * (mc1_mc._y-mc2_mc._y) Math.atan2 angle = (oppside, adjside) angle = Math.round (angle / Math.PI * 180); mc2_mc._rotation = -1 * (angle), change "mc2_mc" to the name of the movie clip you want to rotate and change "mc1_mc" to the name of movie clip you want "mc2_mc" to rotate.
