Question: Lost $240,000 in cash which was in a bank safety deposit box?
Just saw a news where a lady in Garden grove, California put $240,000 cash in a safety deposit box in Hanmi bank last August. When she checked it last March, the box was empty. She immediately notified the police and bank administrator and they said there's no evidence of tampering and they only keep camera recordings for only 3 months and erases for new recording. And the bank also said since there's no evidence of what was in the safety box, they cannot do anything. The lady said she'll sue the bank. Can she win in this case when there's no evidence what was in the safety deposit box the there's no camera recordings?
Answer: I doubt it.
Interestingly enough, in the early seventies, the group Led Zeppelin had an identical occurrence with about one hundred thousand dollars.

Some see it as a convenience to get ready cash, others don't want their cash to show for obvious reasons. Risky business, that.

Question: Nikon Coolpix L18 sucks. I'm screwed?A year ago I bought a Nokia Coolpix Red 8.0 megapixel digital camera at Target. I always kept in a case, never fell. Out of nowhere when I went to take a picture of my step-daughter's graduation that says "invalid target". The lens was removed, and when turned on makes a funny sound gear and says the same "lens error". I called the warranty number and gave them the TAR #. Mrs. Service client says there is no # tar in the system, and apparently had to "registration in line after buying the warranty. She says that without a receipt I can not fix. I'm SOL on this one? Although I have a lemon. I bought the 3 year extended service plan. And he kept that in # tar and has a bar code on the back. Needless to say the reception and smelly.
Answer: Go to target you and talk to them. There should also be There was a warranty card in the camera box. It is necessary that the card because all the information you need is there. If you have a scanner to scan that the card and email it to support Nikon and see what they say.

Question: Can get adsl but no dialtone 4 phone line. Removed splitter & tried ph(new) on its own but still no dialtone??
I have two phone connection points in my house(A&B) one(A) is connected to a two way splitter for ph and internet the other(B) just to a normal landline phone handset. At first my handset phone got fuzzy (with nothing plugged into the other connection point(A)) and now I have no dialtone at all. (On either (A) or (B)). However when the internet connection(A) is plugged back in I can still get the internet but yet I have no phone dialtone. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Why can I get ADSL and not have a dialtone? My current service provider tells me that I need a filter but I have never needed a filter before and I could receive both phone and internet successfully with just a splitter. The last time I had no phone dialtone I maintained that I had been disconnected at the exchange(this was proved correct) however my service provider maintained that the problem was due to a security system/portable phone interference--neither of which I posess.
Answer: Hi moudiwar:Go TO the D- Mark box. Unplug the cord from the jack.Plug in a regular corded telephone. If you get DIALTONE, which I dout that you will, it would be your problem. The pair of wires that goes from your location into the telephone Central Office splits & goes to two different equipment locations.One is your dialtone line & has battery & ground on it. The internet connection is bridged on to this circuit for your adsl. You can have one without the other, which appears to be your situation. I assume it is a telco problem. Good luck. exbelltel

Q: Volvo Penta engine cuts difficult to start but will start an HR later?1988 volvo penta boat motor start drive, but after a fine run will start the day. Until yesterday closes. Points and top are good, not sure of the gas pump. the filter has some gas in it, even when running. I took out the rubber hose carb and crank but no gas. aslso which has a metal gas line of carbohydrates. ?
Answer: Sounds like the fuel pressure. This will allow the engine to start but will not provide enough pressure line to maintain the fuel to boil once the engine warms. This is called vapor lock. Once the fuel injection or cools and returns to a liquid state engine to start again until it warms up again. Means you're in a fuel pump .....:(
