Question: Digital cameras filter questions?
I just bought a sony h-9 and got 3 filters with it...
a UV, a CPL, and an FLD filter... can i use all 3 at the same time and does it matter in what order they are in?
Answer: UV= Ultra Violet
this is a good one to keep on your camera at all times to protect the lens from dust and scratches. plus blocks out uv light which causes a hazy look to photos/video on a sunny day.CPL=Circular Polarizer Filter
remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturates colors providing better contrast.FDL=Fluorescent Glass Filter
for if you are shooting around fluoresent lights they can cause a greenish or yellow hues depending what kind but this will keep the colors true to life. But generally with camera gear you use one at a time as needed for different situations. I keep my uv filter on at all times just for added protection hope this helps somewhat

Question: I'm am buying a piano, what should I be paying attention to?
Hi, guys.
I have a digital piano for a long time, but I feel unsatisfied and I want to buy a real piano. I will be looking for used pianos, because new pianos are way beyond my budget, my budget is around 2k, I have looked around in a cpl shops with used pianos and saw some nice ones. But the question is what should I pay attention to when buying a real piano? Any tips?
Many thanks!
Edit: sorry for not mentioning I have no space for a grand piano and its def outside my budget. I am looking at upright pianos that i have in mind.Answer: I just brought a piano, it was £100 and its great for what i need it for.
First.
Grand or upright. A grand piano needs quite a lot of space, where as an upright doesn't (in sure you know this)Overstrung or straight strung?
Overstrung is where the strings cross over, there for the bass strings are longer and produce a richer sound
Straight strung is where the strings are straight.
Overstrung is better but there is not much in itIron frame, or wooden frame?
Iron frame doesn't warp. With central heating the home temperature flucuates therefore the wooden frame warps and sends the piano out of tune. Iron frame is better because it hold the tension from the stringsUnder-dampened or over-dampened?
Over-dampened relies on gravity to pull the dampers back in (i think) therefore is slower at silencing the strings
Under-dampened means the dampers are mechanical so more effective
I think thats it, but under-dampened is betterWhen going to view the piano, think about things like ease of getting it out of the house (or shop) if they will deliver or if you need an external company, if all keys work, how recently it has been tuned (if it was tuned last month and is now out of tune, it doesn't hold the tune), Condition of case. On an upright piano you can lift the front edge of the top, and remove the front pannel just above the keys so you can see the strings. Check each hammer and key to make sure the action is correct.
Also play a little song to see if you like the feel
If you are unsure take a piano tuner![]()
Good luck

P.s i talked about an upright because that what i have, some of the stuff applies to grands, but not all
