Question: If I buy a new digital SLR lenses from my camera still work on it?.

I have a Canon 300D SLR, film. Am considering get a Canon 400D digital SLR will be the lenses that I have for the 300D still working on it. I heard there might be a problem with the sensor size digital smaller than 35mm film aperture.

Answer: Yes the lenses work well. All EF lenses are interchangeable between film and digital. You do not need an adapter and will meter and autofocus well. EFs lenses that were designed exclusively for cropped sensor DSLR like the 400D does not work on your camera anyway. There are really only one or two EFs lenses that you will though.
