I have a solid metal rod of iron, is long in 5 dimension, 3 cm wide and 1 in thick. I it as a paper weight in my office. I wish it's magnetic so can easily pick up staple wires away that my files. Thank you very much for those who give the solution to my question.

Answer: Wrap the bar in insulated copper wire, preferably solid core, smooth and keep the pack close together, and wrap up three levels deep, when you reach the end of the first layer only wrap back towards the end you started on the same third layer hooks them a DC power supply at the ends of the wire-wrap, and let the right thing for 3-4 days (make sure you plug it, that it does not warm much, if any) very soon you have a magnet.

Question: All my videos have a blue dot with my Canon Digital Camera, Can I fix it?

It is caught in the same place, because when I zoom with the zoom is moved. My pictures are fine but my video recordings are the blue dot. Is there a diagnosis for this problem? I tried to clean the lens with a Q-Tip. Anything else I can do?
