Question: What do you call photography using green boxes?
I know that taking pictures with a green background and then changing it after is called “chromakey” or “green screen” photography.
I want to ask what do you call the ones that people(usually kids) sit on top of green boxes and they later change then to animals(crocs, rhinos and lions) and a bunch of other stuff?
thanks![]()
Answer: Is it possible that they are placing the box under the ‘chroma-key’ backdrop?

Question: What is the best green screen or chroma Photography Software?Preferably one with a small learning curve. I need not do anything too extravagant, it's more just for the game with a few pictures that I have. Thank you!
Answer: There are a few options and it depends on your budget, exactly what you want to do, and calculated as you read. You can do it in several Adobe products, but I would not recommend that for the occasional user, because 1) They are expensive, 2) you are using a little difficult for the casual user and 3) It is usually overkill for most people. I like the stand-alone "Green Screen software packages because they are cheap and easy to use. Normally, the way they work is this: You take a picture in front of a green screen (they are like $ 15) import the pic into your green-screen program, and it guides you through the process with the kind of a software wizard. I am a big fan of this one http://bit.ly/cpdaK7 It's pretty cool what you can use these programs .. I have used it to do Christmas presents:)

Question: How can I get this focus effect?
I have a Sony DSC-W55 camera and I was wondering how I could get this effect (blurry background and sharp, focused target):

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k122/simonsc90/astute%20photo/iq%20v1/OutOfFocus.jpg (second one down)
Answer: The effect you’re talking about or showing in your sit guide is known as a “short focus” field,…the lens is focusing on a close up object and the field is dropped out due o the sharp focus in the short field….I’m not too sure about your particular camera but if you have the Auto focus then it should do this automatically. if you have a “portrait option” on your camera then it should be programmed to “portrait” and then focus and shoot…..some digital cameras don’t have that option, if yours doesn’t then I’m not sure how you’d get that effect,….it would be helpful if the subject you’re shooting is darker and richer than your background….hope this helps some.

Question: Why do so many people focus on the causes and effects, rather than prevention?Perhaps because many people do not have very developed frontal lobes of the brain, the same part that controls reasoning, planning and problem solving?
Answer: One word …… stupidity. You are right.
