Answer: Get the TC is the same brand as the goal. It is likely to be at least somewhat adapted to the optical lens. If you get version Sigma 1.4 EX I have one and it is excellent. Remember that you lose 1 stop of light, and you actually get only another 80 mm at the end long. Hope this helps. EDIT: The crop factor does not increase the focal length. The MAX you'll get is 200X1.4 = 280mm.
