Answer: Yes, it'll work but I don't recommend it.
The Sigma 70-300 DG Macro is a soft lens especially on the longer side and not too fast either. Adding a 2x converter will further slow is down and degrade the image quality. Save money and buy a longer lens at a later date instead.

Question: What lenses are compatible with the Sony teleconverter 2x (SAL-20TC)?I had a hard time trying to find lenses that are compatible with this teleconverter that are also capable autofocus when attached to it. I sent Sony, and all they said was to buy their lenses Sony (300 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8, etc.). but when I look at B & H Photo online, he says he will accept the Minolta 300 f2.8 and 300 f4 with auto focus. no one knows whether the objectives Minolta, or even work with this Sigma lens teleconverter, while maintaining AF?
Answer: I do not know about the game auto-focus, but any lens made for Sony a mount will be compatible with it.

Question: Need a UK photographic equipment supplier who will ship to North Cyprus?
I want to buy some accessories for my new digital SLR camera, but I am in North Cyprus until at least Christmas, so I need to find a retailer who will ship to me here.
