Answer: If you have a computer hard drive that died on you, the magnet on which the hard drive head is attached is among of the strongest non-electromagnets (relative to size) you can obtain. (Source 1)

Well, given your user name, I assumed that you have at least a few busted hard drives lying about. :p

Guess you are stuck with building an electromagnet then (Source 2):
1) Obtain a AA battery. (9 volt batteries may have a higher voltage but it is the CURRENT that actually provides the magnetic field, AA batteries work better.)
2) Find some copper wiring, you can obtain them from power cables of unwanted electronics or spare computer or monitor power cables.
3) Strip the rubber coating off the wires.
4) Wrap the wires around a metal core. (A copper or iron nail would suffice.) Make sure the wires are wrapped in the same direction. The greater the number of coils the stronger the electromagnet
5) Power the electromagnet using the aforementioned battery.

Answer: They turn the fine focus knob back and forth until the sample is in focus. Note note that the "real world" samples may not be all in the approach to both establish some because of the depth of attention to great power can be thinner the sample is.

Question: 3.0 megapixels camera HELP !!!!?

I was wondering will a three megapixel give me nice full body shots or will it only take uplclose shots and if i do take full body shots from a distant will you still be able to see my face goood or will it be super fuzzy and small. And to those of you with the standar 5.0 megapixels did you ever have a 3 mega and what was the differnce.

Answer: 3.0 mega pixel camera is not bad. I am using 3.0 MP from 2 years and I shot all kinds of pictures. 3.0MP camera is good for 5X7 size photos not more than that.

Go to 5.0 if you would like to enlarge the printing to more than 5X7

Question: Digital camera for dentists?

I want to buy a digital camera to take super close up snaps of the teeth, for dental Use, no place is any idea on this one? Macros with good optical zoom and … Kodak has a few for use in dentistry, but theyre too expensive for what they offer in die''''zahnärztlichen banner.

Answer: What is your budget? My suggestion would be a DSLR Entry level as the Canon Rebel XT or Nikon D40 350D/Digital with a good macro lens and a ring flash. The cheaper alternative would be a pocket camera, macro mode supports and also have ring flash adapter.
