Question: treadmill and heart rate monitors?

I am using a professional treadmill at the gym. It is a Precor 966i. To get my heart rate I grasp the monitoring grips and the HR then displays then goes off when I remove my hands. When I am wearing a personal HR monitor, the HR display on the treadmill goes on and stays on even when I do not grip the monitor so this tells me that the treadmill is getting a reading from my chest strap.Yes or no ? Is my treadmill reading from my chest strap monitor or from the treadmill itself? Remember that I am not touching the treadmill grips .

Answer: depends.. are they synced? sometimes when you are wearing a different heart rate monitor that is not compatable with the particular treadmill it will give you a wrong reading…also the built in heart rate monitor on the treadmill is flawed in that you cannot grasp the handle and get an accurate heart rate unless you are walking

Question: How to improve the plug off?

I am currently having problems with my grip during deadlifts. I'm fine with doing 5-7 reps 310 pounds, but I feel my grip slipping 350ish after 3 reps, although I could easily knock out 5 or 6. When I go to 400 pounds, I can only get a bar without hearing to slip out of my hand. However, its frustrating the life out of me and I know that I could use the belts, but I feel that would be cheating, so I wonder if anyone has good advice Training grip.

Answer: There is a movement out there for not using seat belts, gloves or belts. I understand the idea "Cheat" and seems more natural not to use them. While I am not someone who is lacking, I hate using them. I worked on my grip with kettlebells (they have also added about 30 pounds to my DL and repaired my shoulder.) It might work for you – you have a coach or do this alone? If a coach, he has an idea. If alone, order a 53 or 70 pounds and the k-bell work exercises. The off-center weight has really helped my girly wrists. Pavel Tsatsouline "Power to the people" has some good information but it was the k-bells "Russian Kettlebell Challenge" that worked best for me. I hope to break this plateau!

Answer: I personally think its a decent deal… I wouldn’t worry too much about it being older. I have a 6mp Pentax that I still love the picture quality from. I was majoring in photography several years ago, and work in a professional photo lab and put the picture quality of my 6mp over most of the 10+ mp cameras I see. Anything over 5mp for the most part is overkill. I think you did good by getting something inexpensive to learn and as you feel you need the features of the newer (more expensive) cameras you can upgrade. I would look at getting good lenses for your camera, and plan to build a “system”, so if you do decide to upgrade you already have nice lenses for it. Remember the most important part for capturing an image is the glass.

Question: Tips for decorating your belt?

I get the Canon EOS Rebel XSi DSLR Camera and come with large belts that hook the neck Go the camera I'm thinking of putting the buttons on it, you have some other decorating ideas?
