Question: Microsoft Picture It! Photo Premium 9, not working, need help!?

Ok, Im trying to get my copy of Microsoft Picture It! from my laptop, to my new PC, so I copy all the files from the Program Files folder on my laptop, then just copy them over via external harddrive.

Well… when I double click on the icon in the folder it comes up and says “Microsoft Picture It! Has stopped working, checking for solutions.”

Then a box comes up saying – “The applications failed to initialize properly (0xc06d007e). Click OK to terminate program.”

Please help, I need this for my last school project! Or are there any places I can download it again? Or something VERY similar?!

Answer: ok you can’t do that. copy the files and transfer them 2 a different computer.

you have to have the install CD. See, when you install a program it also installs information that you can’t copy into this thing that’s called the windows “registry”. the program needs the info in the registry to work, not just the viewable files.
