Question: Is there a macro lens compatible with Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S75?
I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S75 and I want an attachable Macro lens for it so I can get some good close up pictures. The camera has a built-in Macro setting, but I want an actual lens just for Macro shots so that they can be higher quality/better resolution. I can't find any Macro lenses compatible with this model though. Are there any that even work with my camera, and if so, where do I find it/them?
actually, there are interchangable lenses that work with my camera, because I have others, just not a macroAnswer: No. Your camera does not have interchangeable lenses. To accomplish what you want to do will require the purchase of a DSLR - and a true macro lens.
The Sony A100 with lens is very affordable right now and you can find a Minolta Maxxum AF macro lens on ebay or amazon.com or keh.com or bhphotovideo.com..

Question: Sigma 50mm macro lens for Sony it's a good lens?I was thinking about a Sigma macro lens for my Sony Alpha A200. It is 1:1, it is a true macro. This will be my first macro lens and my first Sigma lens. Is it worth $ 270?
Answer: Hi there. Let up by anyone (the snooty people photo) You talk about a Sigma lens. So many people turn up their noses in lenses that are not by their camera manufacturer be made, but unless they are completely "not name''brands .. a Sigma, Tamron, Tokina ... these are nice quality lenses and they are NOT by market. If you have found a real macro for 270 $ and this is your price range ... then in department look at it. I suppose you can purchase online ... they also have a Right of return. If the lens and they get takes great pictures for you ... There should be no question of it being a good business and keep it. If you do not like the search results, send it back. We sell Sigma lenses in our business and they are a good lens for a good value. We also sell Canon / Nikon / Pentax lenses as well. I'm just is not a lens that I know of criticizing of good quality. I need it to hold the following:
Mini tripod (3-4")

and of course, my cameraDoes anyone no of a nice case that will hold all that and is not too expensive?
