Question: What is the best way, 8mm and mini DV video put on DVD?I have about 60 tapes. I no longer have the 8mm camcorder. I do have the mini-DV camcorder and a firewire cable with my older Dell is working but not recognized by my new Toshiba. There is no software or drivers available for this camera. It's an older jvc cheap. My first option is that she transferred from a local company. They will do it for $ 15 per band, but they can not edited be. My second idea was to buy a two camcorders on ebay (with software) and edit it with Movie Maker. The third option is to transfer the 8mm tapes playable get dvds, use the mini-DV cam with my tv and edit them using a DVD recorder. I just was not sure if you can play a DVD while recording on your recorder with the same tv. I'm afraid if I buy the camcorder, they might not work on this new computer. Any help would be appreciated. I am A mother of five, and not super technical, so if the computer editing is very difficult, please let me know!
Answer: I am assuming that "8mm" means, Digital8 - please correct me when I'm lying wrong. Both Digital8 and MiniDV transferred the video via firewire. Firewire card cost about the same as transferring one of your tapes, so your cheapest and best option. The drivers for the card, the camcorder, and they are part of the operating system. You need a Digital8 Digital8 camcorders play tapes, but you should be able to record the video from the tapes with the appropriate camcorder. Video editing is not difficult, but it is not trivial. Windows Movie Maker is a good choice for a start, but it is quite limited - a play with it and get an idea of the basics. Once you are sure that you know, what do you want you can look for something better. The great thing is you can do so many mistakes as you like - the original footage is still there, safe on the band!

All you would need is the IMEI number (underneath the battery of the phone that could start with 011 010 , 353 or something similiar), the activation CODE and SIM card number (smartchip) that starts with 8901...

Question: My work O2 SIM card for Sony Ericsson 850th in a Palm Treo 680?I have a Sony Ericsson 850th on O2 contract and I would like to have a smartphone. How do I know if my SIM card work?
Answer: I see no reason why the sim card does not work if it's a phone phone as well as all the bumpers are the same size and are made to fit any mobile phone if you are concerned contact 02, which will give you all the help you need.
