Question: Does K9 web protection also filter internet activity on aol?
I have k9 installed on my family's computer. It blocks certain sites while my kids are on Internet Explorer, but not while they are on AOL. How do I get it to also block sites through AOL?

Question: How can I remove or circumvent the K9 Web Protection?This filter block youtube and facebook, things that do not need "protection" from as it used to be in them all the time and I do not have demonstrated anything not already know. Answer: My school had installed earlier this filter year on all computers. So he spent months trying to see how I could win, but was inpossible. no simple google searches worked like I thought they would. I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel ... quite foreign to myself I figured out how to uninstall it, I will walk and no one comes to this site through it, because I know how you feel ... certainly no need to port or USB drives. all you need is a time machine. its pretty simple, basically all you have to do is "almost" erase and reinstall, but I do very specific steps only if they are not good with a computer 1. go to http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ and request a license (just hit "K9 today dowload free) when you have done that go to your email address and click on the message of K9. will give you your license. keep the website open email, or if you just copy paste the license later. 2. Hacking begin now - open this my pc - local disk c - Program Files - Blue Coat K9 Web Protection to delete everything you can ... yes "may", because you might not let you delete certain things, simply deleting everything I can, but do not delete the file itself 3. Now open this - Start - Run Type box type "regedit" open - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SOFTWARE go to blue coat k9 web protection of files, again you can delete all 4. press Ctrl + Alt + Del should open a box entitled "Task Manager Windows "or something like that. (BTW if you have a laptop and the keyboard is not the same as a desktop computer, idk how to open" administrator Windows Task "... look up or something), click on" Processes "high-end process" k9filter.exe "at this time you will not be able to surfing the web (the dog pops up saying "no respondng K9 web protection) to ensure that you have the free email or just leave -. VOILA! K9 is now yours .. can change the settings, you can uninstall it if you like, whatever. but now we know that dog is your dog! by the way, jose, I agree with you and the whole thing "protection."
