Question: Will this tripod fit in my backpack?

My backpack measures 19″ x 12″ x 8″ (H x W x D) and I’m looking at a tripod that when folded, measures 19.3″. If I try to put this in the bag at an angle, should it fit ok? Basically want to be able to fit my tripod, camera (SLR in a small holster bag) and some other stuff.

Question: Should this case be adequate to protect my Canon Xti?

I’m going to Japan and have a limited amount of space, so I’m trying to not bring my huge camera case that carries anything you could imagine. I went and bought a holster case, which is very well made and feels very sturdy. It holds what I need, but I must keep the lens attached while the camera is in the case. I’ll have a backpack to keep extra accessories, so this seems to work well, I’m just wondering if my camera should be safe enough. Everything fits snugly in the case and I’ll be bringing it on the plane with me. Should I be ok? Anyone travel with only this type of case:

Answer: that case is good enough if you keep it with you. you won’t have room for very much equipment, ie lens, charger, and flashs

Answer: I worked in the business of mobile telephony and really except 60 (which is old now) The Motorola phones are not very good! None of the phones these days come with car chargers, cases, etc. Go to the Verizon Web site, and can compare what your phone with others, including talking about the battery time. The way to find out which phone is better. Go to a Verizon store or call and pick their brains on what is best. They want the sale and do not want to sell something that you bring back. Then either keep what you are getting (which I doubt you want) or send it back and get a LG or Samsung. Their websites you can get users views on their phones. I have the LG 8600 and so far if a great phone.
