Question: Can I use Car lights/bulbs as lighting for photography?
I'm completely new to photography, and I've only just been learning tips and tricks off the net. At the moment I'm looking for cheap options for equipment. If I connected a car headlight halogen bulb (preferably in the reflective casing) to a 12v source and set it up, on full beam, with a reflection umbrella, will this suffice for at least a single light source setup?
Has anybody tried this?Answer: You CAN use ANYTHING for a light source. Even the moon if you want. The trick is getting your exposure and white balance to match it. You can do this, but I suggest you get a light meter for exposure settings and not knowing the temp of the light(s), you will need to do a custom white balance in the camera or use a grey card for reference, shoot in RAW, then adjust against the grey card.
If you are shooting film, you may need something like an 80A filter with daylight balanced film to get close to the correct color.

I have just brought R4 card, It came with a card that fits into your ds (the R4 card) and a usb microSD memory stick, i have got all my games on the memory stick, but i dont know how to convert my games from my memory stick to the R4 ds card, can some one please help?
Answer: Fixing you r4(so it doesn't keep saying loading)
1) plug in you r4 to your computer using the adapter with your sd card in it and right click it and press format then press ok.

scroll to the bottom press download 1 make sure you download the english one. it should say this English Kernel v1.18: Download1 Download2(Worldwide) press download 1 or 2 its the same thing.3) http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
download the 1st one winrar 3.804)now for the 1.18 kernel you just downloaded open it. then drag out all the 3 files called _DS_MENU.DAT、 _DS_MSHL.NDS and a folder called something like moonshell into your r4.
Putting games in your r4
1)Go to http://www.dsromplanet.com/index.php?cat...
download any game you want.2)open it. drag out the ****.nds file to your r4 you can rename it if you want like take out the numbers etc. Sometimes the nds file might also be inside a zipped file open that then the nds file should be there. And sometimes when you open it might have like 10 rar files e.g. ***.rar, ***.01 ...... just drag all of them to your desktop then just open any you want and there is you game.
Putting music in you r4 and playing it.
1) music files must all be in mp3 format
download songs from http://www.mp3raid.com/2)then just drag them to your r4
3)then when you want to play it turn on your ds then pick the middle one (multimedia) and find you song and press a.

Question: Where can I buy a USB stick that you insert a memory card?My sister got one from his boss who does not remember where bought it. I like the idea of going cordless like that ... but where can I find one? Looks like a regular USB memory stick, but you take the cap and insert the end the memory card.
