Question: Foot Pain Problem?
I need to be on my feet constantly and I am having trouble. I wear Easy Spirit shoes with the Level 2-3 comfort, very thick gel under my heel and so forth. I spend big money on shoes made for comfort and find none. If I stand for 10 minutes or less, my heels and the balls of my feet hurt like I’m standing on bruises! It’s so intense sometimes that I have to tiptoe because of the pain. It is a constant pain, like someone pushing on a bruise and not letting up. It once got so bad just from walking around my house barefoot, I had tears coming down my face while I began to crawl on my hands and knees. I’m an EMT, but I’m no doctor…I have, like, no arch in my foot either. Might that be the cause of the problem? Any help will be appreciated.
Answer: It sounds like you have Equinus, which causes Plantar Fasciitis.Never go barefoot around the house. The pain is caused by inflammation of the plantar fasciia.
There is a way to tape your feet to bring immediate relief.
Use 1/2 inch sport tape. You are going to place the tape around your foot from your arch on the instep go around the back of your heel and stop at the arch of your outer step.Tear it off, and take another piece to wrap around your foot starting at the top of your foot (toenail side) and wrap that piece so that it goes around your foot, through your arch and it holds the first tape in place. When it is done right, you will have tape going around the back of your foot(heel) and around the bottom of your foot (arches) with the piece around your arches connecting to the piece and holding in place the one around your heel.
This relieves the pain and takes the strain off of the arch, or in our case where the arch should be and this creates one.
Get some heel lifts(1/4 inch) as well to place in your shoes, not just the gel supports but lifts.Equinus means that your tendon in your calves is too short causing the strain on the rest of your foot and it’s tendons.I bet the back of your legs feel tight and ache as well, just not as bad as your heels. The lifts help to support that short tendon.
Go see a podiatrist, there is a surgical proceedure that can sometimes successfully lengthen the tendon causing the Equinus. Take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen (I have a prescription for 800 mg) to help reduce the inflammatory process. You can also use ice, freeze a water bottle and then put it on the floor and roll it back and forth with your foot.I know exactly how much it hurts and I hope this has helped.Again, Never go barefoot for that puts strain on the arch,I wear Isotoner arch support slippers around the house.

Question: video tripod leadership needed for corporate clients? Please only answer this question if you are a professional or an experienced amateur / prosumer are video producer. Please tell me the basis for your answers. I had a little fluid digital video camera for which I am trying Source of a tripod. I had originally tried resource with a level head at the top, but then found out I can camera and a cross on my level, that the clips in the flash shoe. I think I do this without the level on a tripod, if I have one on the camera – you disagree? Are there any brands and models (I'm in Australia); recommend that one? – The camera is small with a Panasonic NV-GS300 – Approx. 14 cm by 6 cm by 7 cm. The tripod is necessary because the execs to talk to the camera head pieces for this Use in power want. I want a fluid head because I want to be able to smooth motion when zooming and there is the likelihood that I would like panning and zooming through pictures and documents in the macro mode.
Answer: I think Miller Tripods are manufactured in Australia. Fine products. Camera Weight is what determines the size of stand you do not need, how big the camera dimensions. The amount should be on the stand itself, Clip-on's can decieving. If you can afford it, look for a fluid head with adjustable drag, it will set you need as much or little force will make the movements of the camera. Good Luck!

Question: What Should I Buy? Canon XSi with 1 Lens Kit or XTi with 2 Lens Kit?
I want to move from point-and-shoot photography into SLR’s, and I’m currently agonizing over which camera/kit I should buy to start me on my way.
I live in Japan, so the names of the cameras and prices are a little different, but for the purpose of this post, I’m going to use the US names and quote the prices in USD. The store where I plan to buy the camera (Yamada denki) is also currently having a sale where when i buy it, I will receive a certain amount of money back in store credit to use for a future purchase.
My current options are:
The new Rebel XSi with 18-55mm lens kit for $890; I will get $220 worth of points to spend at the store.
The Rebel XTi with 18-55mm lens kit for $798; I will get $200 worth of points to spend at the store.
The Rebel XTi in a kit with 2 lenses, the 18-55mm lens and also the Canon EF 55-200mm Telephoto lens for $998; I will get $250 worth of points to spend at the store.
Any advice at all would be helpful! Thank you so much!
Answer: I’m going to be a little different and say go for the XSi, not because of the “Live view” which I’d likely never use, but simply for the fact that the XSi has “spot metering”, which the XTi lacks, that is a huge factor IMO… Also the kit lens for the XSi has IS (image stability) and the XTi does not. The kit lens for the XTi is a decent lens, but not the best, due to the fact that it is relatively slow, and the lack of IS makes it poor in lower lighting conditions.
Also the XSi use the less expensive SD cards, as opposed to the CF cards.
Compare the two cameras side by side at http://dpreview.com
The 55-200mm lens is relatively inexpensive for Canon lenses, I’d buy it at a later date.

Question: Canon XSi kit lens … Questions? Help?Ok, I want the Canon XSI, after much searching and comparing, but I think I could go with a body-only deal and a different lens … Any ideas? I'm going on a European tour, and would really only want a lens that is an all-Arounder. I do not know they want to spend a lot of money, I'm on a budget, and its my first DSLR camera. Or since it was my first DSLR kit lens should I just be satisfied with the 18-55 mm and only accept I can not zoom a whole lot? Thanks for the help. Its estimated.
Answer: First a disclaimer: I am a "dirty" in bright lenses and constant aperture zoom lenses. All suggestions are based on these Criteria. Although the 18-55mm "kit lens is waiting its slow lens with a variable aperture F3.5 to F5.6. This is not a problem when shooting outdoors in good light, but it limits especially when the lens not the flash for indoor pictures. So my suggestion is, if your budget allows, a two-lens kit. First, the Canon EF-S 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM and the second, the Canon EF 50mm F1.4 USM. The 17-55mm constant aperture lens that does not mean you lose shutter speed zoom. This is a 50mm lens You will be grateful for with when you are in a cathedral Flash or a museum and is not allowed. Is this an expensive kit? Yes it is. I checked with http://www.bhphotovideo.com and found the 17-55mm F2.8 for $ 960.00 and the 50mm F1.4 for $ 325,00. Is it worth the money? In my opinion it is. Here are some additional sites that you trust You can compare prices in order to: http://www.adorama.com http://www.keh.com http://www.beachcamera.com http://www.ritzcamera.com http: / / If www. uniquephoto.com They see a deal that seems only too good to be true, check the seller to possible http://www.resellerratings.com being, that we manage, even indoors, only with the 17-55mm F2.8 Zoom, as long as you do not mind having a higher ISO. Suppose you are managing in a cathedral with the f1.4 and a shutter speed of 1 / 125 sec. with ISO 400 If all you have is the 17-55mm F2.8 your ISO will need to 1600 to reach the same 1 / 125 sec. Shutter speed. (F1.4 is two stops faster than 2.8, ISO 1600 two stops faster than ISO 400, you leave the ISO to 400 and your shutter speed. be at 2.8 sec, 1 / 30) .. Yes, 17-55mm lens, the Canon has image stabilization (IS), so you can hand-hold a slower shutter speed, but that will not help if there is any movement of the subject that you would not grasp that there is a blur would. IS affects only camera movement. Shutter concerns about movement. Thus, light intensity triumphs over a high ISO and IS use. I realize that much of what I have told you to shake your head and perhaps a bit confused. I apologize if this is the case. I apologize if I also underestimated have your photography. Skills, I recommend reading the following books: "Understanding Exposure" and "Understanding Shutter Speed", both of David Busch. http://www.dbusch.com/ (You might want to buy his guide for your camera.) "Digital SLR Handbook by John Freeman.
