Of course you will not be using one of those! It will likely blow up an EOS camera. Additionally, it will almost certainly NOT have enough power for your application even if it does somehow function without zapping your precious camera.

For best flexibility and compatibility I would opt for the OEM flash if you plan to do much on-camera hotshoe flash work. Less hassle in the long wrong. They are £249 for a reason.

Question: multi regional – no colour? AS-8099 Acoustic Solutions DVD player?

I have an AS-8099 (Acoustic Solutions) DVD player which is multi regional. However when ever i put in a region 1 disc, the disc plays fine but there is no colour image, it is just black and white. Now, i normally play region 2 discs and they work fine in colour. So what is causing the the region 1 discs on my player to be black and white rather than in colour? And os there a way i can sort it out?

Answer: It might by your TV. The color information in the US system (NTSC) is in a different place on the TV signal from the UK system (PAL). It’s also a different frequency. If you’re using a UK television it simply can’t find the color reference and defaults to black & white.
You can check the set up on the DVD player and see if there is an option to correct this.

Answer: Honestly these computers are the same. It was a little better processor (Pentium 4), but the other have a larger hard drive. In addition, we have a card reader that could be useful …. My advice to you is that this just … Find someone in your region that knows how to build custom computers, and have them configure a PC for about the same amount that the two computers with a processor issues AMD instead of Intel. You will find that performance is improved.
