Question: What's the difference between a SD memory card and a SD High Speed memory card?
I know SDHC is high capacity and the difference between SD and SDHC is more capacity. But what about SD High Speed or SDHC High Speed? What's the difference? They seem to cost the double with the same amount of GigaBytes; why?
Answer: The high speed refers to how fast they can read and write in the lab.
Since very few cameras support high speed read/write at this time, you don't really need to spend any money on these speedy cards.
They are really most used when recording video and many of the true 3-CCD, HD video cameras CAN use these cards.
Don't by cards that are faster than you need. That way you can have more spare cards in your pocket so you don't run out of storage room

Question: Please help me. How can I make my computer accept a SDHC Card 4GB San Disk?
I have a HP desk top (hp pavilion mx70) I have a slot for the memory card, but it is not reading it because it is too big. I believe there is soft ware I can down load and or change something on the driver so it will accept mor GB. Can anyone please help, I believe this is a simple procedure, I just don't have the knowledge and HP wants $50.00 to tell me how. Please help, the memory card is to down load pictures from my digital cannon camera to the computer.
Answer: I do not see a hp pavilion mx70 listed on HP's web site but the card reader may or may not be able to be updated you would have to buy a new card reader to support the SDHC cards.

Question: Please Read! (Card Reader Situation!)?
Okay, so I got an ImageMate San Disk Card Reader and I put my SDHC 4GB Memory Card in the slot and it says that things have been installed and I can now use my card reader, but when I try to select file(s) so I can upload a video to Youtube, it only shows pictures and no videos. By the way, I got this Card reader from eBay and it is brand new.
Answer: You missed a few steps
1) copy all the image files from your memory card to your computer.
2) place all your video files in a separate file folder
3) after you have edited the video, upload it to YouTube
