Question: Do they make these for DSLR LCD screens?

I know they make LCD screen protectors for DSLRs, but I always have a hard time seein’ the screen I’m outdoors and it’s bright, which makes it tough to know what you’ve got unless you go into a shaded area after every few shots.

Do they make anything that makes the screens more visible in high lighting areas? I’m not sure how that’d be possible, but if you know of anything that enhances the visibility, let me know. Thanks guys!

Answer: Yes they make a little pop up thing that fits over the LCD screen. It is somewhat like a tent with 3 sides. You can get them anywhere. Try a camera shop or even Wal-Mart.

In what store can I find the LCD screen protectors for my digital camera. I need it urgently …. so cannot go for on-line …..

Answer: For my compact digital cameras, I bought the big screen protectors stickers, designed for PDAs. Then, I cut as necessary for various devices, such as my smaller cameras, mobile phones and GPS devices. Periodically, I find Protectors PDA screen in the clearance of my local shops center (Staples, OfficeMax, Office Depot, etc.).

Question: how do you cut an object out with chroma key, with more than one colour in the background? Please help!?

Look at this video (it’s only an example, by the way!!) Right, so just say I wanted to cut out one of the girls in the video so that she didn’t have any background as she moves (so it remains a video, and not a picture).

Does anybody know how to do this? I know I’m bad at explaing – sorry! But the only way I know is chroma key, and as far as I know you can only cut it out if it’s on a single coloured background (eg, the whole background is green) but what if there’s like a bazillion colours behind the characters, and some are the same as the girl?

I’m using Windows Movie Maker and Corel Video studio, but willing to use another programme if you tell me how to do it in that.

Answer: I dont think it’s possible.

The best you can hope for is that the background has a limited amount of colours (2 or 3) and you can key off those. You could set a range for the colors too. For example, it can remove all the green’s from moderate dark to moderate light.

In some parts of the videos you show, this might work. You’d have to key off 2 or 3 colors. As you say, if the background is complex, some of the colour will be in the foreground too you will get ‘holes’.

In the second example you give they already have the foreground seperately. In anime the backgrounds and the animated characters are seperate.

Question: Where can I get green screen background video?

I'm all for a good background for a video background Chroma Key with a view to my green screen so that I have a cool effect like flies or Time Warping … Whatever you can come up with thats cool. Thanks.

Answer: I'm curious about this too. I have seen CD's to know for sale on eBay, I do not know anywhere to get the charge for this.
