Question: NEXTEL I870 WON’T READ MINI SD CARD?
I got got a nextel i870 and i got a 4gb sandisk mobile ultra, micro, sd, HC card that is everything it says on the card but my phone will not like pick it up when i put it in… it reads the little 64mb card with no probs but not this new one… i try 2 format the card under settings but i can’t because the card does not show up can someone tell me why this is doing this? is there like something wrong with this new card?
any help would be great!
Answer: there are two things here.
#1. Does your phone support sdhc? sdhc is NOT sd. An sdhc card will not work with a phone that only supports sd.
#2. Does your phone support 4gb memory cards? There is a maximum size of memory card that your phone will support. 60% of phones will support a max 2gb.

Question: Some songs on my Sandisk Micro SD 2 GB are not displayed on my phone (LG ENV) Please help!?When I look at the Mini SD file the song on my computer there, but when I look for those songs on my phone, no where to be seen. There is plenty of room left on the Mini SD.
Answer: Probably your phone rings only MP3 audio files. Check if the songs are MP3. Click on them (on a computer) and should be MP3. Otherwise its something like WMA or AVC. Then you will need to re-download or re-buy the songs

Question: My 4 GB USB stick and I have a few problems …?When I move files from my old computer to my Mac, I have a 4 GB memory stick and a 4GB San Disk Extreme III (30 mb/s/200x) and when I had finished moving my files and delete the copied files from my card, I noticed that is "missing space" the files were deleted, but they said that 3.48 GB I think that was? On both of them. I wonder whether there is a way to to resolve this problem? Thanks guys!
Answer: With 4GB of storage device (USB flash drive, hard drive, etc.) do not over 4 GB of usable space. This is because of how memory is measured (or counted if you prefer). Your computer measures do differently than the memory storage device manufacturer. Thus, if you buy, say, a 320 GB hard drive, you actually get around 300 GB of storage space.
