I want to buy the Olympus Stylus 850 and am wondering if my old memory card will be compatible. It is a 2 GB SanDisk "Ultra II"
Answer: If your old card is a xD card then yes. If it is a SD memory card then no.
Only Olympus and some Fujifilm cameras use xD cards ... except for Sony all other P&S cameras use SD memory cards.

Answer: not many camcorders can a 64 GB card, and even fewer readers, they can use. Review the information on your device before purchase nothing. also remember that a continuous record of the time, and cumulative storage in multiple files is not the same. Some cameras can not record more than 2 GB in a single file. Bigger is not always better. Most video editors can not be directly with the files on an SD card as the access speed is slow, they must Loading them on the computer hard drive. 64 GB will take hours to load up on a USB2 cable. With several smaller cards, or 16 GB usually works better than a huge one, especially when the large class of 10 is not.
