Question: is there anyway to preserve rose petals without the use of chemicals?
i got 3 dozen roses that are sadly dying, but some of the rose petals are still nice and red. is there anyway to preserve them without having to run out to the store to buy stuff?
Answer: place them in between a book. It's keeps them looking fresh. Problem is U can't take 'em out or they'll dry out. If U want them dried out' though, just hang the roses upside down. That's how ya make potpourri

Answer: make them into beads. Rose Petal pearls are a very dark red. Take them in balls and on a wire rope to dry. Cable must be as large as you want the hole in their being. I did about 40 years ago with the woman near her grandmother and my teaching. Neighbor had a huge rose garden so loads of rose petals to make all kinds of stuff.
