Question: which camera is great buy ?
i am almost new to photography world.nature and wildlife are always my passion. i watch only natgeo animal planet and discovery on tv, i always wondering how they cought these amazing moment in their camera. now i realy want to take good photo and want to turn my dreams into reality.for that i need you help to buy one good camera for novice but atleast semi pro camera with good lens. After a long reserch and question answer to lots of people i have two options to select. first Nikon D80 with 18-125 kit lens along with Sigma 70-300 APO. and another one is Canon 450D with 18-55 kit and canon 75-300 lens. kindly please guide me which one to buy, my interest area are Wildlife, macro, landscape i dont like portrait etc.
thanks.
Answer: I have a D-80 and think you'd be happy with it, but I'd get their 70-300. Sigma's lenses are OK, but the Nikon lens isn't really much more. One thing I've learned about it; when you're shooting birds and animals, even up close, use the landscape mode. You'll get much better detail unless you need speed to freeze a bird's wings or something then "sport" works.
Another thing to consider. If you've already decided to spend this much, take a close look at the new D-90; the initial stuff about it sounds great. You can get a body for under $1,000 and it shoots HD video in addition to the stills. I don't need one but I'm still really considering it.

Question: Lens Suggestions for beginner photographers?I am a novice photographer who just got himself a DSLR (a Canon EOS Rebel XS (EOS 1000D), FYI), and as you guessed, it came only with an objective of the kit, the EF-S 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS. I thought to make me a new lens so that I can at least attempt to go pro. One of my friends suggested the EF 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM, but considering the price is a bit outside my budget, but, well, then I think it might be a pro. So what do you think? Is good lens? Or do you have any suggestions on other lenses good for me to begin with?
Answer: The EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is ok as a walk around the general objective of a person on a budget, but it's very far from quality professional. I recommend getting a lens of better quality and faster than this ... either the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM (lens is a quality professional with excellent image quality). And it costs only about U.S. $ 600 (an absolute bargain). Even better, the same lens with IS (costs about U.S. $ 1100). It is also available in a version and also with f/2.8 IS, but they are expensive. Or you could watch a goal fixed focus (they do not zoom). These are excellent ... strong and very fast (ideal for low light shooting and portraits). The ultra cheap and Budget prices, EF 50mm f/1.8 (under $ 100 U.S.) a very sharp image quality. It's only cheap because it's crappy and plastic construction quality. A better version is the EF 50mm f/1.4 USM, which costs less than U.S. $ 400. A good goal is an investment that will last for many, many years. Buying a cheap telephoto lens is not an investment, because if it does not affect the quality and sharpness (or too slow for your needs) you lost your money ... and then you have to spend more money to purchase another objective. I recommend paying for quality In the first case ... good luck

Question: DVD stayed on my HP laptop?I have new HP Pavilion laptop and I have Windows Vista Home Premium. On the side of the DVD-Multi Recorder shows, Compact Disc-RW, DVD + RW icon. I had tried a DVD I buy, shows the disc in the DVD-Video image. When I insert the DVD, nothing happens. When I tried to open Windows Media and Quick Play nothing happens. On QuickPlay say no CD drive in the drive. I downloaded the VLC Media Player will not work, get error message. Microsoft is trying to Download codec is not vista Compatiable with the codec program. What I'm doing well? Please help!
Answer: Take it back to the City purchased and have proven to also ask you to use to show them how to play a DVD. I do not know me with Windows Vista, but on W-XP, I use the Intervideo WinDVD Player for Video and Windows Media Player for music.
