Question: What kind of automotive service and repair fraud are there?

I need to write a 3 page research paper on automotive service, and repair fraud. any ideas?

who is targeted
frequency
common fraudulent practice etc

also i need a suggestion to make it safer for consumers.

Answer: Targets are generally frequent customers, women, and public naive in auto repair and cost.
Fraudulent practice is usually severed belts, punctured A/C systems, damaged suspension components, damaged lines holding fluids, punctured tires etc. Taking old parts and cleaning them up to look new and then selling them as new parts.
Safer for a customer, take a vehicle to a person you can trust or take an expert with you.

Question: What is the best Credit Repair Service?

I am looking for a Credit Repair Co., which is a bit 'smaller then the rest all the major companies out there because I want personal service at affordable prices, people who can really help. If anyone knows of such a company, I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Answer: Ok, this is what I can say, yes, credit repair companies can only do what you can do yourself, but like me there are many other people out there who dont have them time to go 10 times a post office and send letters to all banks and all creditors are listed on a credit report, it is possible, but you can fix your car, mowing the lawn and its Home schooling your kids but you dont. Instead you decide to use a professional. I went and got all 3 of my credit reports, and then I looked for a professional, I used www.fastcreditsolutions.net They were super helpful and explained to me what my credit problems were and how much should I lower my account from revolving. My results have been impressive deleted a bunch of old collections and some late payments on my car loan. They are pretty cheap and have awesome customer service, please contact below. Question: Broken LENS!!!? What to do??? VA/DC?

a friend broke his it is a 70-200mm IS f2.8 L Series Canon using a crappy old tripod.

The camera took a full dive from 5 feet on to pavement due to a leg collapsing. The lens took the brunt of the impact.

This cracked the UV filter and the upper part of the lens. Also the focus seems to not work. This is an $1800 lens and my question is if anyone knows about the repair possibilities?

He lives in virginia near DC
unfortunately the regular tripod was broken so there was just nothing else to do.

Answer: In most cases that I have read like this, Canon will not usually bother trying to fix it. The man hours and time spending fixing, checking, realigning and testing the lens is a lot. The cost?, usually more than buying a new lens.

I may be wrong here, and of course you should check.. But your friend may have learned a very hard lesson here about crappy tripods.

Question: What should I do if I broke the glass of my lens fisheye nikkor 10.5?

I dropped in a marriage last night and broken glass. I love the goal and I want it repaired, but it is not under warranty. Does anyone know a place which may determine the glass or Nikon does have to do this? Also, if anyone knows what it costs to get the glass replaced that would be great too. I and tried to find an answer online and could not do.

Answer: You can not "fix" the broken glass, it must be replaced. It might be cheaper to buy a used one that replaced it. Was it the camera when you filed? If yes, check your camera very carefully for damage.
