Question: Removing Film from 1970s pentax camera?

how the heck do i remove film from a 1970s Pentax camera please and thank you

Answer: A little more detail about which camera it is would be helpful!.

The standard is to press the release on the bottom of the camera, this allows you to rewind the film using the rewind knob on the top left of the camera. Once all the film is rewound and back in the cassette you then pull the rewind knob up to pop open the back then remove the film.

Question: what might cause SLR color prints to come out with half the picture blury?

I’m using a vintange Hanimex Praktica camera. I suspect that the camera body back door might be damaging the negatives, or possibly the camera is allowing light to leak in.
If you have experience with vintage cameras, what is your experience with prints coming out looking dingy and partially blury on the right side of the print?

Answer: Check to see if the film pressure plate on the door of the camera back is loose. If it isn’t evenly applying pressure to hold the film in the film plane, you could get blurry images.

Question: I'm becoming a traditional SLR camera, but soon …?

it will not come with a manual. I'd like to know how to 'program' the camera to do what I need to do that. What aperture size and shutter speed to use what I need when I'm running: A) Portraits [internal, external, static and white] and B) Landscapes [Panorama general or with the function of focal] I'm good with lighting, composition etc. of the shot, while I'm starting a collection vintage camera if you want to know why I'm not switching to digital. This in particular is a MTL3 Praktica. Thanks for your help: o]

Answer: Why not come with a manual? If you get one used, the person before you could have screwed around with all settings. Anyways … on mesh opening and shutter speed …. Actually there are 3 things that you need to set: ISO, mesh opening and the speed shutter. ISO-set to a low number (like 100) when theres a lot of outside light set to a larger number (200-800), when there isn't as much light mesh opening Set the F-stop to a large # (apearture small opening), when I pull out a lot of light because less light is needed. Set the F-stop to a small # (opening apearature great) when it is taken up and require more light in the second half. September Shutter speed (high), when you have lots of light, or when do pictures of moving targets (ie, animals or people who practice sports) with slow (low number) when taking a shot and his kind of dark, the light is more necessary, the shutter must remain open for longer.
