Question is: someone had a new SIM card reader put it in phone?

do not read my phone sims, it says SIM every time, it was said that it need a new SIM reader, but it will cost, scared to get it repaired if it does not work, you've already put a new SIM reader, does it work?

Answer: Have you tried a new SIM card? I had a problem a few years ago, when my phone no longer recognizes my sim, and kept saying insert SIM. It turned out that for some reason my SIM card had gone bad. I bought a new SIM and it worked without problems from now on.
