Question: Where can I print “professional looking” photos I took without copyright issues?
I went to walgreens today to get prints of a few shots I took in a friends kitchen. Since I put up a black sheet for a backdrop and took good pictures, the photo person working was led to believe that they were professionally shot, and dang near refused to print my photos. They did when I provided proof that i had in fact took them. Now, my question is, where is the best place to get MY originals printed without the hassle? I’d prefer not ordering them, because I don’t want to wait, but I guess if that’s what I have to do, then so be it. =[ I'm an amateur fooling people into thinking a pro took my photos so early in the game, what an annoying compliment.
Here's the site explaining what they told me in the store.

Answer: Well, at least they were protecting your copyright. I'd much rather have that problem than the reverse. Easy way: Print up some copyright releases, or imbed the data in the title or exif data. If you stick to one lab, the employees will get to know you and you shouldn't have that problem going into the future.

Question: Senior Portraits are pricy, how can I order portraits I take myself on professional portrait photo paper?
I am going to Hawaii spring break, and will have access to beautiful natural backdrops, yet I don’t know how to print these photos on photo paper, or order professional portraits with pictures I took myself. I have a great quality camera, and I know what I’m doing in the actual photography area, I just don’t know where to go from there.
Answer: Hi there. Most websites or print places default to printing on glossy paper, but also have a choice for matte finish. Although not thick like professional paper, it still has a professional looking front surface. Notice that this is the type of finish that the pro’s would provide you with anyhow and you can choose it for yourself no extra charge. At least costco and snapfish.com offer this choice.
