I have a pink gourami and he’s having difficulty staying boyant, so he’s just floating up at the top. It doesn’t appear that he has dropsy. No pine cone look. It does look like on the top of his spine/fin area that it has bright red spots. I seperated him and put him in a small tank with a little salt and currently raising the temp to 80°. No, he’s not a new addition. I’ve had him for a good 2 years, almost 3. This behaviour just started a couple days ago. He isn’t really eating but will sporatically dart around the tank. The water is in normal condition.

Answer: he is dying
