That said, be careful when using a lens adapter. Using a lens designed for another digital camera can ruin the camera sensor. It 'better to buy a lens that fits the assembly directly, sans adapter.

Question: Is there ANY possible way to get data off a DVD what hasn’t been finalized yet w/o the original camera?

My digital camera that records video to DVDs met the pavement, and I NEED the video off the disk it had recoded on. The camera was off when it fell, so I doubt it is corrupted or anything, just not finalized so my computer won’t read it. Is there ANY kind of software I can download to be able to read it? Or can I get another camera of the same model that works and finalize the disk in it? Please this footage is worth so much to me.
The copying and reburning would work, except for how the camera records the data. When you insert the disk into any computer it comes up with a CD with 0 free bytes and 0 used bytes. In essence, a dummy disk. The camera doesn’t record it in such a language or code that anything else can understand apparently, so I’m hoping it will work with another Sony Handycam when I look for one today.

Answer: If you have a computer, Nero and some hard drive, you can copy all your files to your hard drive and then reburn using any DVD burning software (such as Nero).

my camera on my phone is not as good as I think it was earlier … Do you have ideas, are what the original camera settings, or how the camera will look better … The problem is that the really dark and kind of fuzzy … THANKS

Answer: The camera is only 2.0 megapixels, so it's kind of fuzzy …. and the screen on the enemy is not the best, so that you could not have a problem. They are trying to upload an image on your computer and if it still looks dark and blurry, then you will probably be a problem.
