Question: Topcon RE Super/Super D 250 film Magazine and battery grip….?
I have recently bought a Topcon RE Super/Super D 250 film Magazine and I was wondering if the Honeywell Pentax Motor drive (motor drive + battery grip) would fit under the film magazine. Or is the Honeywell Pentax Motor drive only for the camera? Like can I attach the film magazine to my Topocn RE camera and the Honeywell Pentax Motor drive all together?
Thanks
Answer: No. That is like asking if your Chevy can use Toyota pistons.
You will have to look for a Topcon motor drive.
Background:
At one time (1960′s and early 1970′s) it was one of the recognized professional 35 mm SLR cameras, along with Pentax (1964) and Nikon.
(1959)
Pentax and Nikon just had more lenses and other accessories available and were picked by many papers as their cameras of choice, so Topcon faded into the sunset. Canon’s first professional camera did not show up until the introduction of the Canon F-1 (1971) and then in 1988, Canon dropped that system in favor of the current EOS system

Question: Is this a Regular Zoom Lens?
Hello, I’m new to photography, and just got the pentax k200d. I’m looking for a nice long zoom lens now, and found this
Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Di LD Macro Zoom Lens for Pentax Digital SLR Cameras.
http://www.amazon.com/Tamron-70-300mm-4-0-5-6-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000EXR0VK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1234905475&sr=8-5
It says macro zoom lens, so what is the difference in that and other zoom lens? I’m looking for a lens that can zoom in on something like a deer from far away.
Answer: Yes, this is a Telephoto zoom lens.
The Macro allows you to take close up magnified images. With a “normal” telephoto lens your minimum focus distance would be much farther away than this lenses ~38″ distance. This will work great for zooming in on deer.
Product description excerpts:
“…high-image-quality telephoto zoom lens with macro capability…”
“…flipping a macro switch in the focal length range of 180mm to 300mm obtains a maximum magnification ratio of 1: 2 at a minimum focus distance as short as 37.4″, enabling close-up shots of flowers, insects, and other objects that normally require the use of a specially designed macro lens.”

Question: Is there a macro lens for about $ 70 Pentax Mount with 50mm focal length by one?Answer: Sigma 50mm f/2.8 Macro AF makes one that * might * be able to find used on eBay or somewhere used. New, it is about $ 250, but used You may be able to find for less. Not too many out there though, so it is difficult to be used. Out of curiosity, why a 50mm macro? The working distance is very short, so it is not good for any errors or things that can escape. It is good for things like flowers or other static, stationary objects. A less expensive alternative would be close-up lenses, you mentioned earlier on. You could also look at Pentax extension tubes that will, for example, increased magnifcation for macro work:: http://cgi.ebay.com/Extension-Tube-Set-Marco-Ring-for-Pentax-K100D-K10D-A75_W0QQitemZ190170797665QQihZ009QQcategoryZ50489QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
