Question: Dimensions of Nikon Dslr Camera Strap?
Can anyone tell me the size of a Nikon camera strap?
I'm making a camera strap cover for my friend for her birthday, but I have a Canon, and I'm not sure if there's a difference in strap size.
She has a D90 (I don't know if that makes a difference either). I just need the length and width of the thick part. - - I would ask her, but it's a surprise!

Answer: I have both Nikon and Canon cameras.
The neck straps are withing a cm of being the same length and making the strap slightly wider at the shoulder, is a good thing.

Question: Question for photographers and camera specialists?My dream camera costs $ 496.96 on arlingtoncamera.com I have a Nikon Coolpix P5100 with a telephoto lens, battery, memory card (4GB), USB cable and charger. I also have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi with the original packaging, manuals, 2GB SD card, battery, Battery charger, hand strap, software CD and USB cable. I plan to sell to my local camera store. The Nikon camera was used only once and the Canon has for 1 was used in the two years that I owned, but has no scratches or stains with the exception of fingerprints on the LCD screen. Do you think I'm enough to make my Dream camera to buy? Btw, please mentional eBay or Craigslist. I have no time to play around with them. Plus PayPal is not working with my bank acct. Prudent @ my dream Camera is a Rollei, and I think they are a trillion times better than any Canon. I've been a professional photographer for five years now so I know a lot about cameras.
Answer: My suggestion is to try to set the time that PayPal to fix the problem and sell on eBay (yes, I know you wanted eBay does not have to hear ...). I say this because each business to buy your used things is, you almost always much less what it is really worth, so how they can get it for cheap from you and sell it for what it is really worthwhile. If you sell it to them online, you could probably get enough Money which camera to buy. Otherwise you have to do it, you save on the camera pulled settle and wait until you raise enough money for them.

Question: I have a 50mm lens. Why do my filters and lens cap say 55mm?

Why do my filters and lens cap say 55mm when they fit on my 50mm lens.Answer: The 50mm on your lens refers to it's focal length, ie the distance from the lens to the camera's focal plane, the 55mm refers do the diameter of the screw thread on your filters and lens cap or lens hood.
The lens I use mostly on my Canon 40D is a 25mm to 75mm zoom lens (focal length range), but the filters and cap etc. are still 55mm.
