Question: How to clean Nikon D50?
My dad’s Nikon D50 has a dirty spot between the lens and the viewfinder, and he can’t really find where it is. Does anybody have a way to clean it without damaging the camera? The spot is one of those stains you get on your glasses after a month without maintainance.
Answer: It’s probably on his focusing screen or on the mirror.
I wouldn’t follow Ken Rockwell’s advice; he doesn’t even clean his sensor.
Instead, since the spot seems to be on the mirror or focusing screen, see this much more practical advice here:

Hope this helps!

Question: Dropped Nikon, now takes pictures Weird? HELP! please!?I put my Nikon Coolpix camera on a glass table, and as I was fell walking. First, the objective was messy, but somehow fixed. Now, the camera takes pictures, leave only with the utmost care and all lines through them! Is there anywhere in the Phoenix area, AZ, where I could get this fixed and how? I have no assurance from me now. Thank you!
Answer: Call Nikon to see where you can send your fixation. Your warranty does not cover abuse, and camera falls off the table is abuse. You have to pay for repairs, and could be very expensive. Depending on how the cost of the camera may be better simply buy a new one. Sorry.

Question: Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote (Please help)?
I want to do a 2min long exposure, do I have to hold the button down for 2mins or can I lock it?
Answer: When the camera is set to bulb you press the remote release once to start the exposure and once more to end it you do not have to hold it down. Maximum duration is 30 minutes if you happen to be doing anything like shooting star movement at night ( some folks take pictures with the movement of the stars showing a streak on very long night sky exposures ) A single flash of the Af illuminator lamp will tell you the exposure is completed, Make sure you have a good charge on the battery whenever you do long exposures. and you probably want to go to the shooting menu and make sure noise reduction is on as long exposures can give you more signal noise.
I hope this helps

Question: How do I use Nikon D60 ML-L3 Wireless Remote?Well, after trying and I can finally touch you. Someone Can tell me How to use the ML-L3 Wireless Remote in my Nikon D60 camera? Thank you in advance.
Answer: You must tell your camera manual. Go through the menu of your camera. In the D70 is in the section with the pencil. Scroll down til you take it where stated distance. Select it and time. Then there is a button on the back of the device that resembles multiple photos stacked. Press that and turn the knob back until it shows the little symbol for the remote in the top window. Then use it. Might be different on D60. Your manual will explain it better.
