Question: Can the Magpul Multi-Mission Sling System attach onto the Canon 550D/T2i’s sling mounts?

I am considering getting the Magpul MS2 to replace the stock sling that came with the EOS 550D / Digital Rebel T2i. Before investing 50 dollars on the sling, I’d like to know if the DSLR camera’s sling mounts will accept the sling’s attach points.

Don’t ask as to why I want the Magpul MS2 on the DSLR.
I just wanted it to look tactical,
and a Crye Multicam coating on the camera will come next.

Answer: By “sling” I’m assuming you’re talking about what we would call a neck strap.

You’ll have to check the measurements of the attachment points. Too wide, of course they won’t fit.
Seems as simple as that to me. I know nothing about the brand in question but I just looked it up on the web. From what I can see the attachments are metal and I’d suspect to thick to go through the attachment points.

Why not get a couple of key rings, attach them to the camera and then the strap to the rings.

Question: New photographer.?

I have been involved take pictures and I have a Kodak Z712 IS camera. this is likely to sound really stupid but when I look up new lenses and the like, I have no idea what some of the things belong to. Digital Multi-Coated to reduce the appearance of lens flare and ghost images: for example, caused by reflections. Ghosting? Multi-coating? 70mm-200mm and if it says? what does this mean? if someone could help me with understanding that expressions how or if they could send me a link to a website that will help me understand, it would be much appreciated. thankss: D

Answer: A polarizing filter has two rings. The front ring is the one that spins. It’s the ring behind that one you need to turn to remove it from the lens. If it’s stuck, try a rubber band to give you some grip. Don’t squeeze too hard, just get a good grip and unscrew it.
