Question: Sony DSLR-A200k camera black and white?

I have a Sony alpha DSLR-A200K 10.2 megapixel camera and I was wondering if it had a black and white feature. I can’t seem to find a way to take a picture in black and white. Is there a way I can make one?

Answer: Wow, I wish I had a nice camera like that. But I did download the manual, which is free, and looked up Black and White. Under Creative Style, under Image Processing, there is a Black and White option. From just my quick look at the manual, it looks like you do this after you take the picture, and you can also correct color, sharpness, etc.

But if you are really that much into photography, you should realize that there is more to B&W photography than just desaturating colors and making a pic. B&W. A program like Photoshop allows you to adjust tones, adjust sensitivity to different colors, etc., and you can get a much better picture this way.
