NO! do not do that. First, you must have RECHARGEABLE Lithium batteries. Li-Po, Li-Ion.. Lithium batteries are a very special construction, they must be recharged exactly like the manufacturer says.

Lithium batteries have a bad habit of “Venting To Flame” if abused.

Ok I Energizer e2 rechargeable battery or should I get the Energizer lithium e2? I heard that you should get the e2 Lithium, but I only have to start from a person. World … What do you think? Please No PO huge response. thanx. Oh btw I am using them for a Canon PowerShot S3 IS.

Answer: If you choose to use e2 lithium batteries, do not let the price scare. Than cost twice but last at least 4 times.
