Question: how do you hook up the pipes for a laundry top load machine?
if you dont have a laundry room, can we connect out laundry machine to a pie in a kitchen sink? and… which pipe do we take out to connect the laundry machine….and if you can, send me a webstie with an image of how the pipe looks like…and when you take out a pie, and the water is not runnung, will the pie burst out water, or only when it is running????
Answer: Your machine should have come with 2 black hoses, or silver braided steel hoses.
If it came with 2 black hoses go to the hardware store and trade them out for braided steel.
In your Wash / dryer area there should be 2 connections. One for cold water and one for hot water. Your Washer should have matching connections. Connect the washer to the corresping hot / cold water with the braided steel connections. Make sure you use teflon tape to connect them.
Your waste water hose should be large and possibly grey in color. That’s the hose to take the dirty water from your washer to your waste water system. This should hook up somewhere on the washer with a hose clamp and should hook to a pipe coming out of your wash/dry area.
The most difficult time I have usually is levelling the washer. You must make sure it’s 100% level or when you wash, your washer will start “Walking” and could possibly break connections and cause some flooding.

Question: How do you get a smell of mold on a higher load washing machine? Its only about 3 years, and I have heard of bleach, but dont know how, or if there are other ideas.
Answer: Fill the washing machine with hot water, pour bleach in a 1 / 2 to 1Cup. Add another bucket water after the washer fills. Run blank through a cycle. Be sure to leave the lid open after you're done.

Question: Im an engineering student and im trying to design a release system for a hot wheels drag racing track. Ideas?
we have a design project that where we need to design a release system that will release a hot wheels car and it has to have a switch to tell when the car leaves and tell if it went before the light turned green or not. does anyone have any ideas?!
Answer: There are many ways to accomplish this.
If you are allowed to modify the track, you can use a solenoid mounted below the track with the pin sticking out of a small hole in the track. When the solenoid is energized, the pin retracts towards the coil causing the pin to drop below the track and allowing the car to move. Since the solenoid is spring loaded, it will return to the proper position upon releasing the switch.
The same principle may be applied by placing the solenoid to the side of the track and having the pin stick out across the track. When the pin is retracted, it clears the track and the car is released.
The energization of the solenoid will also act as the switch, indicating that the car has been released.
Finally, power from the tree can provide power to the switch which controls the solenoid. So only when the tree is active, can the solenoid be active.
The output of the green led from the tree can be used to trigger a one-shot. The output of the one shot can trigger the clock of a gated D latch. The latch will latch the state of the D input, which would be the condition of the solenoid switch.
If the person has started too soon, the D will be high and the output will be set, which can drive the fault led. If they have not started yet, the D will be low and the output will be clear.

Question: Is nintendo gonna release a new gaming system?
I don’t know if I should buy a nintendo ds lite, or if i should save my money for a coming gaming system? Does someone knows anything?
Answer: I don’t think they will be in a long while. The Wii and DS Lite is doing very well in the market; in fact, the Wii and DS are selling more than the PS3′s and 360′s market put together!
However, the Wii is mostly targeted to children, which is why Nintendo is getting so much money.
The DS Lite is for everyone and is selling pretty fast as well.
So no, Nintendo probably won’t release a new gaming system, until the competition with Microsoft and Sony gets more intense.
