Question: what is wrong with my canon pixma ip1800 printer?
I recently bought a canon pixma ip1800 printer. i plugged it in installed the ink cartridges, there is a orange flashing light flashing 7 times i took the cartridges out and put them back in i heard them click in place but the light is still flashing. what do i do?
Answer: Did you install the drivers from the supplied disk before you connected the printer? If not, the computer may not recognise the printer. Disconnect the printer from the computer,install the drivers and reconnect. If you don't have a disk you may be able to install the printer drivers on-line through Canon's website. Look in the on-screen help menu if you have one,or in the manual,to identify the problem. The indicator light by the card slot flashes when a memory card is installed and the printer is reading the card. If the power lamp and the alarm lamp flash alternately after the drivers are installed and you have connected and switched on again, unplug the printer from the mains and the computer,wait a few seconds,then connect and switch on again. If the problem persists,you will need to take the printer in to your dealer.

Question: Is there a way to stop my Canon Pixma, all my files scanned PDF files?I scan the drawings on my computer But there is a problem that they all become pdfs. Yes, I know I can open it with Adobe Reader, but I want to know is when I get my printer / scanner can do to stop this? I'm getting a Canon Pixma MP240, I make it to pngs, what??
Answer: What you do not say "HOW" you scan. You should be able to open any image editing program and use the File / Import or scan menu and select the Canon printer, scan image directly into the program and save what you want if you use a scan button on hte machine itself, it goes to the PDF as a normal means of sending pictures, People default.

Question: Memory RAM - Acer Travelmate Notebook - further details.?I have an Acer Travelmate 4021. Has two card slots memory. I put two x 1Gb in eqach but will not start. I take the top card and penalty. I've been told that my laptop can have up to 2 GB of RAM. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why not work with two cards?
Answer: If you start with one of the sticks of 1GB, but not with both, then there are the same, not so compatible. For example, 128 * 32 is the same as 64 * 64, but the two settings could not work together.
