Question: What is a Soft Flash Bounce Diffuser used for ?
I just noticed they are cheap to buy on ebay and fit my flash .
Answer: That's a good thing to have. I don't think there is anything else that costs so little nad helps your flash pictures as much.
See my demo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/4160599559/
Read the commentary. Frame #6 shows a soft diffusion dome aimed at the subject and #7 shows a bounced flash with diffusion dome.

Question: Can anyone recommend a diffuser for an external flash?I have a Nikon SB-600 and I am looking for a box reasonably priced soft or some type of diffuser for my flash. I take some pictures in a restaurant a few weeks do not have low ceilings to bounce flash around. I searched B & H Photo, and can someone tell me if these plastic caps are worth the money? I want to find a distributor that if I aim for the light to them, it will not be as severe or as they faded out.
Answer: Hello, you have I guess, 4 alternatives phones: - 1. handkerchief or towel of white linen that you probably have at home - no cost - may have still hard spots, it doubles up 2. Stofen (or similar) diffuser that fits right on the flash head. I use a Canon flash and it is OK. There are also versions in gold if you want a warmer light 3. Gary Fong system - I think quite expensive, but good, and lots of options - google this 4. Several diffisers Velcro attached, or that you inflate like a balloon. Attached is a link ebay. Ebay is worth a visit because there is ... Many options from $ 5 Less upwardly mobile option: - Strobist approach, with a white umbrella, see strobist.com, but it is a non-Camera System, and requires sufficient space. Hope one of these works for you!

Question: How do you organize your lighting gel collection?
I have recently purchased a large quantity of lighting gels for film and stage productions and am wondering how most people end up organizing them to keep them from scratching and deteriorating quickly. These are standard 21" by 24". Currently, the gels came in a large metal box of the same dimensions, but I fear they may deteriorate quicker and this, of course, is very cumbersome when searching through to find particular colors, as 300+ gels stacked on top of each other gets quite heavy.
Answer: Store them in slots which keep the gels separate from each other. Organise them according to the colour spectrum and then they'll be easy to find.
You may find this takes up much more space than storing them stacked together, but you'll be thankful when you can always locate the filter that you want.

Question: Should light kit for professional filming and photography?I need a light kit portable videography and photography. I know light photography is a bit different than the video, but lets stick to the video since I learned some tricks to work with photography. Need gold and silver reflectors, gels, stands, barn doors, carrying case, broadcasters, etc. Prefer a light kit 5 points. But if you have a good light kit 4 + let me know. Links to sites purchaseable preferred.
Answer: Here's a link to B & H Photo and Video: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/browse/Lighting-Studio/ci/1161/N/4294551176, they must have everything you need. Without knowing your specific application (indoor, outdoor, low light, etc.), it is difficult to make specific recommendations. Since you said stick with the video, I guess you want "Hots" (continuous) lighting. Like Lowell Pro lights. My Convertible preferred is the lights. It can use CF bulbs, which run cooler (but they are color corrected, ideal for studio shoots) or by exchange base bulb it will also run MH bulbs (which give more light, but to operate it; outside Great).
