Question: Lens hood for camcorder questions?

Hi, I'm considering buying a 30mm lens hood for my Sony DCR-DVD610 Camcorder Glare and protect the lens. Now there was two of Mennon I wanted. Question 1: Will it make a difference when the hood is silver? A color they have is silver, and another is black. Will the color make a difference in the picture? Question 2: Since my camera has a 16:9 camera will show the edges of the cover when the camera is in 16:9 (It is not a fake 16:9, because the LCD is widescreen, and in 4:3 mode, the edges are just cut off)? Answer: Q1, the color difference is not Make a difference to the production of the video to delete, these are purely cosmetic personal decisions, as it will compliment your camera and will make no difference to the production or use of the camera in the form of accessories. Q2, it will not affect the production of true 16:9 format, it is clear the hood and wont a 16:9 production to influence at all.

Answer: Good luck finding the lens, as it is indeed popular. I’ve had mine for almost two years now and it is a fine do-it-all lens. It is probably not up to real pro standards, but there is not much wrong that you can’t work around. It’s not the world’s PERFECT lens, but it is not too shabby. Go here and read Rockwell’s review:
