Answer: Sigma, Tamron, Tokina to be honest using an off brand will never be as good as using a genuine Nikor that is intended for your camera. Not saying the other lenses are not good or good quality just not as good or as capable.

Question: How good is a Nikon D40 digital SLR?

I was wondering how good a Nikon D40 digital SLR. Does anyone have any idea?

Answer: I do not know if I am late to answer this, but, D40 and D40X are always interrupted. SLR cameras are generally worth the money and good for all family use. I ended up in Nikon D60.

My dad has an old canon camera, i think it was an 80′s or 90′s, it has a macro lens 70-200mm i think. And now my dad bought canon rebel t1i, do you think that i can still use the old lens to our new camera?

Answer: The EOS series was introduced in 1987, so if the lens was manufactured after that, you are good to go! Any “EF” series lens will work with the t1i.

As someone mentioned, if it fits it works! The old FD lens style will not fit.
