I wants to buy a digital camera for personel use (not professional) within Rs.6,500. I shortlisted these two model 1. Nikon coolpix L22 and 2. Sony cybershot DSC-S2000. please give me some expertise tips for which I should go for value buy.

both r 10 mega pixels
sony has 6x zoom wher as nikon has 4x(sony is better)
shutter speed,sony is better!
nikon has bigger display(3")
sony has better support of memory cards!
nikon has a far better battery capacity of 630 frames compared to 190 of sony!
all in all both cams r good...i suggest u go for the nikon coz it has a better battery back up!

Question: What are NIKON / CANON / SONY DSLR camera right?I know there are a lot of DSLR cameras out there (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Leica, Olympus, etc.). I also know that the digital SLR camera can capture more emotion, more color compact camera. But what are the fundamental difference between all those? (For example Canon DSLR is good for the landscape? Portrait? Low light conditions?) I personally owned a fee, sometimes, when I tried to compare my shots (same resolution and unedited) with others, I have better results for outdoor, landscape and the light of day. and not for low light, target mobile, and the portrait. I am very curious to know if all brands have their own specialties and responsibilities. Anyone care to respond? or give me a reference? Thanks!
Answer: What are NIKON / CANON / SONY DSLR camera right? - Door stops? But what are the fundamental difference between all those? - None. All digital Slr Cameras are essentially the same. I have a better outcome for outdoor, landscape and light per day. - Good for you. and not for low light, moving target, and the portrait. - You just do not know how to take those shots again properly.
