Question: Cine Kodak 8 Model 20 camera?

I have an old (1932-1947) home movie camera; name listed is Cine Kodak 8 Model 20. It is in working condition, has a leather case, and doesn’t have tons of wear on it.

Any ideas about how much it is worth?

Answer: Go to eBay Advanced Search and put in your description, check the box ‘Completed Listings Only’ and you will get a list of all those cameras that have been listed and whether they sold or not and for how much if they did.

That was the long answer, the short answer is it’s not worth alot.

Question: I have a wonderful old beige leather bag camera, which can be stained and horrible stain darker? How?

the background is darker and the leather is dyed Refinish rain and need it. But how and what to use?

Answer: If the skin is really tanned, and not sprayed with vinyl like modern shoes are, you can simply use a dark polish and leather, even a good deal. You say it is old, so I'm hoping the leather finish is "real" and this will work. Get deep brown Kiwi polish, and rub well. Will darken the light areas far rather than to areas and at night. Add a little saliva to polish helps some, as it provides the enamel in leather, some (ask any sailor). After application, either brush with a shoe brush or rub off excess with paper towels.

Question: Which halter do you prefer and why?

Here’s one halter:

Here’s the other:

http://www.horseloverz.com/TORY-LEATHER-Oakbark-Leather-and-Web-Halter-pr-191012.html

And here’s the last one:

http://www.horseloverz.com/Roma-Deluxe-Trim-Halter-pr-245104.html

The first one is all leather, the second is webbed nylon with leather points, and the third is all nylon.
We do NOT use halters for turnout, and my horse will not be wearing it in her stall either. It is used only when moving/leading the horse around & when in crossties or tied to the trailer, so it’s basically just for comfort + appearance.
Let me know what one you like, and why! In case you’re choosing based on the colour of my horse, “Paris” is a light dapple grey Holsteiner… so something elegant, classy, simple & comfortable all at once. :)
Thanks!

Answer: I would get an all leather halter with a personalized nameplate that says Paris. Although havanna is the traditional, I’d maybe try to get her a black leather halter with a nameplate. Otherwise, you should get a havanna halter with a nameplate. Those look the nicest and classiest…definitely the most elegant.

Havanna with brass: http://www.smartpakequine.com/ProductClass.aspx?productclassid=1625

This one comes in black: http://www.smartpakequine.com/ProductClass.aspx?productclassid=1624

http://www.smartpakequine.com/ProductClass.aspx?productclassid=3155 I think this is the same halter as your first one. This one comes with black/chrome. So, you could get a stainless steel nameplate with it–look better with the dapple grey horse. You should get this one!! You can get it for cheaper or the same price including the nameplate!!!

Don’t forget to buy a matching black leather lead!

Smartpak does a great job with custome nameplates–just bought something myself. They ship so quickly too & have the best prices!
