Question: New Kodak digital camera goes dark after each shot, must be turned off and back on. Batteries OK. Ideas?

Answer: Try a different brand of rechargeable batteries, in particular, try the Sanyo Eneloops.

What I believe is happening is this: When you take a shot and it writes to the card and tries to display on the screen, there’s a huge sudden current drain on the battery. The battery can’t handle it, probably due to high internal resistance, and then the camera shuts down.

Sanyo Eneloops have lower internal resistance, so they shouldn’t have a problem with a sudden current draw. They have a lower mAH rating, but not so low that they are useless. And in fact, in some devices, they may actually last longer because of the lower internal resistance.

Question: I put new AA batteries in my Kodak EasyShare C433, but still does not light-?

Why? Can anyone help me? I put forward batteries and is used to turn. I turned on the positive and negative around, flipped them over everything. I have them in the right place. HELP?
