First up, let"s start by searching Ebay for Camera Support:
Question: Why don't many newer Canon cameras support remote capture control?
I have been trying to buy a Canon compact camera in the stores that supports "remote capture" from a PC. This is for use with a computer based animation software.
I find that many of the older versions of Canon support this feature, but newer versions of the same models don't support it. For example, SX100 IS and SX110 IS support it, but SX120 IS doesn't. The same is true with several other models.
Is it just that the firmware doesn't support it right now, but will in the future or is there some reason why this feature is being dropped?
Answer: Adding features cost money, even if it is just pennies, so these companies cut back on some things to try and keep cost down and profit margin up.
Of course the above logic by these companies can be wrong, the right feature for pennies can put sales through the roof.
Below I included some links to sites that you can try and research cameras and find something that will work for you.
Good luck.

Question: which stores the retail offer the best support when buying a digital camera?I just bought Wamart from a Sanyo. I also went to best buy. they do not know squat. I finally bought my camera at Wal-Mart, but when I Sanyo Tech supdort called, they hung up on me twice. and no I was not rude. I have not called The Wrong DEPT. HOPE THAT was a joke. I have not called The Wrong DEPT. Hope that was a joke.
Answer: Good to know! Sorry about your experience. I had a similar experience with Sony. I think it is better to buy digital cameras factory that have a reputation for many years of photo production, such as Fuji (the best in any customer service could find), Canon and Olympus. I worked in retail in the 1960s, when retailers hire competent people to staff the camera "departments". Now that the cameras are in an unmanned "section, it makes it very difficult to get help on a d_ _ _. worth Since you just bought your device photo of Walmart, if you were smart enough (which I preached almost every time I answer a question of what type) to keep the box, packaging, instructions, I would return the camera to Walmart. After the sales girl / Guy gives your money. Ask to see the manager. Tell him that you can not buy a product where the manufacturer themselves will not carry the product. I did it with an "LG" refrigerator at Home Depot. And bought a Maytag caca for years, sometimes you just can not win! Good Luck!

Steady Image Tripod
Searching for Steady Image Tripod? You"re in luck. This page was made especially to help you find it! It features many different sources to get or learn about them, so be sure to scroll down the page all the way.
First, let"s start by searching Ebay for Steady Image Tripod:
Question: Best camera settings for taking pictures of fireworks without a tripod?
Heading to Disney in a month and of course I want to get some nice shots with my DSLR. Also of course I wont be carriyng around a tripod with me all day. My rebel XS has Image stabilization which should help a bit, and I plan to shoot with an aperture around 11 but what should my shutter speed be?
I want a speed that will produce a nice firework but also not slow enough in which camera shake will be a problem.
Since it is Disney it may be hard to find a place to put my camera down to steady too.
So whats the best settings for the fireworks holding it in my hands?
Answer: You have to brace the camera in some way, because the best fireworks shots include at least three bursts and the time it takes to collect such images can be from 2 to 4 seconds (your aperture may very) Use the lowest ISO on your camera reduce noise in the night sky.
Usually bracing the left side of the camera against a wall, light pole or other vertical object will work the best.
As you see, the object (fireworks) properties require long exposures, so you are going to have to take some practice shots at 2 to 4 seconds and just learn how to reduce camera movement. It is difficult to tell you what aperture to use, because that will depend upon how close you are to the actual bursts. Last July 4th, I used f/22 @ ISO 200 using a 18-200 mm VR lens hand held for 2 to 4 seconds. You will have to adjust your aperture to get the best colour saturation.
If for some reason you have your LCD set to a brightness other than 0, you will have a difficult time choosing the correct aperture. A lot like trying to make colour corrections on a computer monitor that has not been calibrated in the past week or so.

Question: 'the image quality between a Nikon D90 Panasonic Lumix GF1 against that, in general obvious?I wanted to print a pair of images 2 feet x 2.5 feet. When I take pictures I feel I do a good job because I always use a tripod to make sure it is stable, take the concern for lighting, and take many pictures at different angles and distances away from an object or to ensure a good photo. I do not know much vocab camera here is a link to a comparison http://www.camera-catalog.com/compares/popular/panasonic_lumix_dmc-gf1_vs_nikon_d90
Answer: No, there should be a noticeable difference. They are pushing the limits of both cameras to 2x2.5 'though. Quality will depend more on your camera skills. The noise level is so low in the Lumix sensor size is not going to be a big factor when comparing two cameras significantly different. All other features aside, it's twice the price worth the gain in terms of image quality for a couple of prints? If you have a good exposure and processing doubt it.
