Question: I need a Hotshoe for my Flash?

Hello, I have a Pentax K200D camera and just learned how to use it in manual mode. Now I just received my first flash and thought I'd be able to use it to the side because it is wireless, but I do not know how it works and the instructions are full of things I do not understand how what is a sled and I need it? The flash that I bought was the Pentax AF 360 FGZ. Find here … And http://www.amazon.com/Pentax-Flash-Samsung-Digital-Cameras/dp/B00007EE00/ref=pd_sim_e_4 also says, compatible with Pentax PZ, ZX, SF, LX, MZ, * ist, 645NII, 67II series cameras. K200D is one of those?

Answer: You really need to attend a course or join a club, this is pretty basic stuff. Your AF 360 FGZ is fully compatible with your K200D. First of all you have already on a sled on top of the camera viewfinder. We currently have a piece of protective plastic slip in and remove it that you can fit your new flash and use it as a more powerful version of your pop-up flash, all with P-TTL. To use the new flash off the camera is set as a slave and use the flash to pop up control it. Another way is to buy a cable that runs through the Hot Shoe at the camera and flash to the other end of this car retains complete measurement. In terms of wireless flash: the use of pre-flash from the pop-up flash to control the main camera's flash turned off, is not radio. The flash settings are controlled from the camera detecting a sequence of very fast flash, which are detected by the slave and set, from very fast I mean very, very fast less than 50 ms. You can use more than AF 360 FGZ slaves as they develop the proper exposure, will be equally shared by default, but you can have a flash of light as lead and other how to compile, you can also use the flash pop up this way. There are lots of permutations to try the Pentax P-TTL system. You may wish to explore this site http://pttl.mattdm.org/ Any underlined text is a link, there are a lot of info here. Here's another link that shows how to best use http://www.pentaxuser.co.uk/forum/topic/Digital-SLR-and-PTTL-flash-guide- Flashguns Both the 4323 the same author, you will find the Pentax User Forum is great for stuff like this. Http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/ lots of advice and information from the slow people to Pentax. Chris

Question: Photography studio lighting starter kit ?

I am in need of some advice. I need to find a good Photo Studio Lights for under $200. I am looking for something that has two lamps and hopefully a case to travel with it. If anyone has an idea let me know. Something simple, but works like a charm. thanks

Answer: Youre not really going to find equipment that meets what you just described. Alien Bees, Elinchrome Ranger, Dyna Lite are all some of the lower end equipment that will give you great photos. You are probably better off buying hotlights, which you can jury rig from Home Depot and use diffusers and distance as your power adjustment.

Question: Question photography lighting?

Im shooting custom motorcycles, what is the best way to keep the light box and reflections of other lights to show the bikes gas tank in the photos? also in parts of chromium, you can see me, and the device photo in the reflection too, is there a way to avoid this besides photoshopping it to?

Answer: I do not know if it's a good idea to try to completely remove highlights of the light box of the motorcycle. In most pictures of bike I've seen, they are there. This separate dark areas of the bike and defines the quality of the reflecting surface. To remove yourself from thinking on chrome, the areas along side and behind you would have to be dark or black. This could be done by put black sheets of muslin behind you or shooting through a crack in the muslin. This way there is nothing to reflect. I do not recommend shooting it with an umbrella. Lighting should be less than ideal bike for photos. Usually when they take cars or things like that, the light boxes are usually much larger than the object. This gives a reflection softbox far the object throughout the length of the object. In a studio type. I do not know how to develop of creative or you are looking to achieve, but there's a thought.
