Question: Can I drill holes in my ski goggles?
I have a cheap pair of goggles that tend to fog up. I noticed more expensive ones have vents/holes in the lens itself. Can I drill some holes myself to solve the fogging up problem? If so, where should I drill them?
Yeah, I already drilled the holes and they turned out fine – went straight through. I’ve tried the anti-gof stuff and it doesn’t seem to do much. Are these holes going to help. I put 5 holes spaced out along the top of the lense.Answer: Just get new goggles. Steep and Cheap (www.sac.com) has many really good deals each day on goggles right now. *Note, I do not work for SAC!
I don’t know how often you ski, but to me, goggles are an ESSENTIAL piece of equipment. I treat the equipment that could save my life or prevent me from running into a tree as the most important, and worth spending a few extra bucks on.
I’m glad your drilling worked for you, but if you still experience issues, consider my advice.
Have fun riding while the snow is still here!

Question: 2 questions about car repairs and inspections? My front lens right guide is cracked, but there no white light seen when the lights are on. Would my car still pass inspection? I'm having some problems with the icing and heating in the car. There is a slider that lets you know let the fresh air from outside to inside, or you can set it in reverse to circulate the air inside the car. I had been to move indoors for about 5 consecutive years. About the 3rd year after putting the car in one day, smoke or steam rolled to the defrost vents. And now, if I turn on the heater to evacuate, where he leaves the front of the dashboard, the heat spell, but it smells stale. I also do not smoke in my car, so I wonder if this has anything to do with the smoke out of the defrost vent? Since I set it to let the fresh air, I havent seen more smoke. But because of the stale smell, I was told to ask my mechanic to replace the filter "cabin". Can anyone give me some more information?
Answer: The side marker light is also reflective so that when the other lights shine on him, it shines back. As the stale smell, I think the heater core is leaking or the other or pipes that are connected. Maybe you just need to tighten clamps … to stop the leakage of refrigerant. It is my assessment of what you said.
