Question: ii recently bought a vintage mansfield holiday zoom mm 8mm movie camera.im looking for any info:year made, etc.?
picked the camera up at a thrift store for around ten dollars. does have an item # on it #71889. its in great condition missing the handle though. i know theres no real monetary value to it but im an avid vintage camera collector. im really just looking for any info on this cine camera....year made..specs..etc. any info shared would be greatly apprecited. i also have a couple of other vintage cameras im looking for info on but cant find....revere eight model fifty cine camera....argus c-3, and kodak vigilant junior six-16. thank you all
Answer: standard 8, zoom lens, auto exposure, my guess is 1964-1966. i don't think zoom lenses were available much before 1964.
the argus C3 was 35mm rangefinder camera, that was my first color film camera, Kodachrome ASA 15, wide open f3.5 for daylight photos. extremely popular design in the mid 1950s.

Question: stuck in a vintage film camera?I've just acquired my grandfather's Kodak Pony 135 camera (model B). The film, which uses half Since the camera was in 1955! I've tried it out by winding & unwinding in both directions, even tugged at, but it does not move! Any ideas on how the Film from the camera-free?
Answer: In 50 years the "base" of the film could have melted and fixed to the inside pages. You need to have someone to open the camera and take the film in a darkroom or dark bag (a dark cloth bag is a great thing to fade and has sleeves. Unpack, put the camera inside, then zip it back up and put her arms into the sleeves through). Any camera store should be able to do it, or tell you one place that can do it. It could be a small fee for it, and then you would send out the film to be developed. I would not expect too much after all these years, but you could kind of picture.

Question: Need to set drive as slave, anyone know WD1600js jumper settings?
This is the primary drive out of one computer, I need to hook it up as slave on another so I can pull some data off before wiping it. Right now there is no jumper on, I'm assuming this is cable-select. I don't know which pins to jump for slave setting.
This is Western Digital Caviar SE 160G. Assume it sets the same as other WD drives.
i hope it's obvious that on this drive they didn't include a diagram anywhere. i remember all my old drives had one but i didn't memorize them.Answer: Look here It should tell you everything you need to know.
