Question: Tips on preventing my truck from being broken into?
I drive a 2000 Ford Ranger and it has been broken into 5 times the last 9 months or so. One jimmied back window, one jimmied door, one smashed window, and two door unlocked's.
It has been broken into in small towns as well as large cities. It has been broken into with nothing visible in there whatsoever (my toll road change/parking change from arm rest was taken) to my backup camera LCD being displayed.
Most of the time, nothing valuable is in my car (I learned after storing the GPS under my seat was taken).
I park in a large parking lot, with street lights, and 'security' for the most part.
I never understand why it is always my vehicle when ones a few cars down have GPS's displayed on their dash and mine just has a first aid kit, flashlight, or a few dollars in it.
Answer: put razors behind things like under your radio put razors so when they stick their hands under the radio to grab it they slice their hand but yet that can just end up in having all your windows broken but yea that and actually break your own stuff like take out the power chip in a gps so when they steal it its a piece a junk...
